Located in Carnac-Rouffiac in the Lot department, Clos du Fleur de Lysé lies at the junction of the Quercy Blanc region and the Cahors AOC plateau. Characterized by clay-limestone soil and the white rock that gives this natural region its name, this terroir enables us to make rich, complex wines imbued with acidity and minerality.
Our 13 hectares of vines are between 25 and 45 years old. The vineyard is mainly planted with Malbec, also known as Cot Noir, complemented by three hectares of Merlot.
In the spring of 2025, we co-planted 200 Chenin Blanc plants in a parcel of Malbec for a special cuvée planned for 2028.
And that’s not all! In 2026 we’ll be planting Vermentino (Rolle) to create our first white cuvée, a tribute to our Mediterranean roots.

Our core value, both in the vineyard and in life, is family. That’s why our vision for our wines is based on a small-scale, personalized approach. So we intend to remain a family business, where everyone pitches in and we make the most of the help of our friends and neighbors.
The winemaking acquired in Italy enriches French know-how and opens the door to tons of creative winemaking possibilities.
Why Clos du Fleur de Lysé?
While the adjective “fleurdelysé” has traditionally meant something adorned with fleur-de-lis motifs, it has been the official name of the Quebec flag since 1948.
In 2025, we obtained High Environmental Value (HVE) certification, the highest level of environmental certification for farms.
To obtain this label, a number of criteria must be met, based on the principles of agro-ecology. These include contributing to the preservation of biodiversity, as well as adopting an environmentally-friendly phytosanitary and fertilization strategy.
We have therefore set up a number of initiatives in this area.
